The Musical Staff of CVYS

The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony strives to provide a unique opportunity for area youth to develop and showcase their music artistry in the symphonic tradition. To support that effort, UWEC Music Education students and community members are hired to be Section Leaders and work closely with the Music Director. Each instrument group has a section leader and they work in small groups with students to develop their music abilities as a group.

The Office Staff of CVYS

The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony hires interns to help coordinate office activities such as concert planning and promotion, planning events for CVYS students, coordinating the audition schedule and other basic office tasks. All University interns have the opportunity to receive course credit for their hard work and dedication. Home school students are welcome to help in the office to receive credits towards graduation.
